The Neighbourhood Project is committed to providing safe, inclusive, and respectful environments for all participants. Whether you're volunteering, attending an event, or sharing your data, we take safety seriously at every level.
Our Safety Policy
All of our programs and events are governed by our safety policy, which includes:
- Supervision: All youth-involved activities have adequate adult supervision from trained volunteers or staff
- Screening: Volunteers working directly with minors undergo appropriate screening as required
- Inclusivity: We maintain zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or bullying of any kind
- Emergency Procedures: Each event has designated safety leads and clear emergency protocols
- Reporting: All participants are encouraged to report safety concerns immediately to event organizers
